HÖRTIG rohrpost acts as the technology consultant in the research project CargoCap for the University of Bochum in Germany. This project is an outsized Tube Transport System for parcel transport in tube lines with a tube diameter of 1,60m.

The tubes will connect urban areas so they help to find solutions for the continually rising problems of inner traffic. The vision of the research team is to connect every private houskeeping to make it possible to deliver via internet ordered goods in every home.

So also in the future Air Tube Transport Systems make a very important part whenever high demands are made on the logisics.
